Therapy for Individuals
In our journey towards transformative change, I go beyond traditional talk therapy to facilitate profound and enduring results. Together, we will venture into the realm of experiential exploration, fostering new and corrective experiences that invite your moment-to-moment conscious attention across various facets of your being.
Throughout this process, my approach is centered on recognizing and harnessing your strengths and needs. Through collaboration, we'll craft a distinctive therapeutic path tailored to your goals and the vision of your self-at-best. Our focus extends beyond mere conversation, aiming to enhance your emotional regulation, raise awareness of both adaptive and maladaptive patterns, and empower you to cultivate more effective and meaningful relationships.
Body-oriented therapy through the lens of attachment theory and affective neuroscience can be a journey of self-discovery and growth, transcending the boundaries of conventional therapy for a more comprehensive and impactful experience.

Therapy for Couples
Rather than approaching couples therapy as an adversarial process, imagine embarking on a collaborative journey with your partner—moving beyond the sense of two opposing teams and a referee. Couples seek therapy because their relationship matters profoundly to them, and they wish to evoke their love for each other safely and deeply. This is the foundation we build every session on.
Grounded in attachment theory and affective neuroscience, this body-oriented approach helps create a transformative experience for couples. Together, we build a secure foundation, find common ground, nurture mindful expression, address underlying trauma, and meet one another in a harmonious relational core state.
Couples feel encouraged and often amazed as gratitude and love begin to motivate and guide them. They leave sessions with a growing sense of affection and connection, and are frequently surprised to find themselves looking forward to therapy.
Many couples find solace and mercy in this approach, as it helps them move beyond cycles of criticism and punitive dynamics, guiding them toward rediscovering the love and longing they share. This process often leads to a redefined connection, fostering deeper understanding and appreciation for each other.

What is Experiential Psychotherapy?
What distinguishes experiential psychotherapy apart from traditional talk therapy? Experiential therapy leverages neuroplasticity to promote deeper and more lasting change. This is similar to the difference between talking about a bicycle and actually riding one. While the first involves discussing thoughts, the second engages you in an active process where you support, balance, and consciously experience the change you aim to create. This may manifest through emotion, energy, movement, visual cues, posture, and more.
Experiential psychotherapy focuses on creating corrective and reparative experiences in a secure and supportive environment. As your therapist, I am actively involved and emotionally engaged, collaborating with you rather than remaining passively distant. Together, we can focus on perceiving, receiving, and expressing a range of emotional, cognitive, and somatic experiences to facilitate the change you seek.
Our goal will be to safely process material that may have been avoided or stuck, and to re-associate and repair what was cast away or dissociated. We will offer love, warmth, and safety to parts of you that have been unseen, displaced, or in pain.
This approach is centered on uncovering the authentic you—the self beneath protective barriers that often contribute to suffering, functional difficulties, and relationship challenges. We aim to unlock your core self by addressing these barriers, fostering balance, intimacy, creativity, and overall satisfaction with your unique desires and feelings.
